Bouncing Back with a Bang!!!!!

In my last blog titled "The Last Gasp..." I wrote about how my current employer, AMA Freight USA, LLC will be closing its doors on July 24th, 2009.




At the end of my blog I wrote how I would do as always and bounce back even though it may not be in the same direction.




Well today, while delivering paperwork for the clearance of a shipment in which AMA handled the movement, at a company which branched off from one where I was once employed with, I received a job proposal.




The boss there is a former co-worker of mine when I worked at a different company and he knows the quality of my work, he has just offered me an employment offer. He will be forwarding it to the CEO of his company and will be letting me know by the end of the month if its been accepted. He stated how he knew how I worked and what I am capapable of as well as the reason I had left a previous employment.




I get the same pay, work for less hours and I'll be allowed to continue school as it stands, allowed to continue my sideline as a photographer of which he already knew I was doing, the only difference is that I'll be working from about 1:00 or 2:00pm to 8:00 or 9:00pm and contingent on the workload I'll get time to go pickup my son on Friday and drop him off at home.




And all I did was inform him that my current employer was closing its doors on the 24th.



Now how's that for cleaning myself off and bouncing back?
